Mercy for the Lost and The Wounded

Itend to feel things deeply. Since I’ve known Christ, my heart has grown even more tender. Since I’ve experienced my own suffering, there’s been an increase in the lament over the lost and wounded – often greater than the anguish itself.

Does God see me? What your eyes cannot see.

Last night I stood at the door and watched in amazement as the woods, the fields, meadows, trees, grass and sky were lighting up…literally. Does God see me?
I’ve never in all my life seen so many lightening bugs (fire flies to some of you) out, active and brilliant.
It was as if the paparazzi had been unleased and millions of flashes were going off simultaneously. It was stunning. Try as I might, I couldn’t capture it on my phone video. And I almost missed it…I just happen to get home late and looked up and I am so glad that I did.

Most likely, no person on this earth will pray for him as you do!Don’t give up, its easy to get discouraged, especially as you watch other couples interact that share a faith and place God in the center of their marriage. Set your heart and mind to pray. The following are some guidelines to help you keep your prayers

Why Forgiveness Isn’t Fair

You remember that day so well. That event. Those words. Those hard years…when the cutting and tearing of your heart began. You remember how you felt; how those raw emotions can be drudged up, creating despair in your soul. You’ve tried to let go, you’ve tried to forget, but the monster of memories come without warning. Maybe you are still there – will it ever stop? Is this what life has become?
You’ve been wounded. Someone has hurt you. Someone may be hurting you at this very moment. You’ve been told that forgiveness is a choice, but maybe it’s a choice you’d rather not make. Forgiving looks too much like letting go and that would mean “they” would be off the hook. Letting go would seem like nothing happened.
